Need a beautiful indoor location? Great, let’s shoot at the beautiful Silver Studio in Oakland. It has an abundance of gorgeous, silky natural light and amazing features like hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. Located in the East Bay, the pricing as an add-on is significantly more affordable than what you will find on Peerspace or AirBnb. Amenities include a kitchen and bathroom so you feel completely comfortable and enjoy the convenience of not having to do wardrobe changes out in the woods or in your car.

"Awesome! So my friend Frankie did a few shoots with him and I had always wanted sexy photos taken of myself and I loved that his were out in nature. So Scott and I planned for a few weeks. “What if i’ve never done a shoot like this before?”

This comes up a lot. A sense of “intimidation”, and that all of the women in my work are professional models, and a worry that if otherwise the same results won’t be achieved. The reality is that the majority of the women I’ve photographed are not actual models, and instead fantastic, amazing people working other jobs, being mothers and partners and living their lives. They have no interest in a modeling career, and simply want to celebrate their bodies and femininity. And through my gift for direction, that is exactly what I will help you do. Everyone is beautiful, there is just a learning of how each individual, unique and different, can reveal that in imagery. It is a special relationship of framing, posing, composition, and discovering your best lines. They ARE there. I hope for everyone to celebrate their special beauty, and not fear it isn’t there. “What if i wish to keep the images from my shoot private?”

Not everyone who does a photo shoot wants them "out in the world" for everyone to see. While a photographer can argue that the images belong to them as an intellectual property, I never post any images to either my website or social media without the client's consent should they request it. I recommend addressing this during your consultation if so.

“How do we come up with wardrobe for the shoot?”

Seemingly daunting, this can really be quite an easy process. During your free consultation, we will flesh out both what is authentically you (very important) and in what ways you would like to explore (this is equally important as this shoot is your safe place to do that!). From there I will send you inspiration images as examples, and from there you can pull from what you have and we will fine tune from there. The core things we will focus on are your true energetic self, characters you have always wanted to play, and pieces that embody both, as well as cuts that highlight your perfectly unique physique. It’s a very creative process, and one you will learn from in all other facets of your life. The power of this shoot extends well beyond when I stop hitting the shutter button.

“i would love to do this, but i worry that it’s too self-indulgent to spend the money?”

Nothing that helps to build or reinvent your sense of self is wasteful, and quite the opposite. As you grow so do those you support. Your children, your staff, your partner. As you well know, you cannot properly love others until you properly love yourself. And my belief is that one cannot properly work without properly playing first. You deserve to be rewarded for everything you give to others, this is one way. You may find that this particular gift to yourself lasts the longest and blooms the deepest and most vibrant of colors.

“How are the images selected and delivered to me? will i get to see everything?”

For the selection of your images - I am happy to either cull through the shoot for you and pick what intuitively I feel are the most outstanding images, or provide you a contact sheet of all the images if you prefer to make those selections yourself. All images will be delivered as professionally edited digital images via DropBox and/or as prints or a book depending on your package selection. As a new feature, I will now also be providing a beautiful passcode and link protected web gallery of your final selections in order to view them in all their wondrous glory.

• a deposit equal to half the shoot fee must be secured in order to hold the shoot date / this is not refundable / the remainder of the fee is due by the start of the photo shoot

• all fees should be sent via either Zelle, Venmo or PayPal (when using PayPal, please select the “send to a friend” option / no eChecks please)

• a model release must be signed before any shooting can occur to indicate you’ve consented to the photo shoot / any usage of images will be respectfully discussed

• cancellations and reschedules within 10 days or less of the shoot date will be billed a $200 fee, and it must be paid by the original shoot date

• please confirm and send deposit for your shoot date in a timely manner so that I may accommodate as many amazing clients as possible

• if you are redeeming a promo offer, the deposit will remain equal to the original pricing of the shoot, and the discount will be applied to the remainder of the fee

• unless shooting locally, all travel expenses beyond an included 30 minutes both to and from the location must be compensated at a rate of $70 for each hour

• should you need extensive retouching beyond my standard editing for any reason, I am happy to provide that service for you at a rate of $75 per hour

• you will be provided with a gallery client via Pixieset of all the watermarked images from which to make your edit selections

• all images are delivered digitally via Dropbox cloud sharing platform and as a passcode and link protected web gallery / please allow up to three weeks for full turnaround
